You are a rat with a plan. Every locked door wants one thing: the right word. Sometimes that is a conjugation, sometimes it is one word missing from a sentence. Get it right, the door melts. Get it wrong, you find out why, and it comes back later.

Level 1 — First doors

Three doors. Three verbs. Present tense.

• Move Drag anywhere on the maze, use the arrow pad, or use arrow keys and WASD.
• Doors Walk into a locked door to get a conjugation question.
• Answer Tap an option, or press 1–4.
• Sentences Some doors show a sentence with one word missing. The sentence itself tells you which word.
• Moods Later doors ask whether a sentence needs the indicative or the subjunctive. The clause in front of the gap decides it.
• Reading Some doors show a finished sentence and ask only what tense it is in.
• Wrong? No penalty. You see the correct form and a hint, and that form returns later.
• Nuance Later doors offer two answers that are both real Spanish. Only what the sentence means decides.
• Cheese Optional. Detour for it if you want the points.
